有性生殖生物利用减数分裂这一特殊的细胞分裂方式来产生单倍体配子，实现遗传信息的传递。减数分裂染色体的精确分离依赖于一系列减数分裂特有的事件，这些事件的调控异常可导致非整倍体的产生，是导致唐氏综合症等出生缺陷以及不育、流产等人类疾病的重要因素。我们以秀丽隐杆线虫为主要的体内研究模型，探讨减数分裂特有细胞结构的组装和调控机制，致力于阐明导致减数分裂染色体分离异常的内外源因素。
