Research Areas
The outbreak of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) has caused a global pandemic, prompting people to pay attention to the harm and prevention of infectious diseases once again. There is currently no effective treatment. In recent years, PROTAC technology has received widespread attention from drug developers. This technology is different from the traditional small molecule inhibitor that inhibits the function of the target protein by binding to the active site of the target protein. degradation, so as to achieve the effect of disease treatment. In view of this new mode of action of PROTAC technology and many advantages compared with traditional small molecule inhibitors, it has a promising application in antiviral therapy. Currently studying how to use PROTAC technology to treat the new coronavirus.
